About the venue
|St. Luke's Church is an attractive, mid-Victorian building which is a short walk away, just north of the centre of Maidenhead. The building was consecrated in 1866 by Samuel Wilberforce (son of the famous philanthropist, William Wilberforce) with many developments externally and internally since, including to the fine three-manual Hill pipe organ. This is a church which has a thriving musical life as part of it's worship, and also hosts it's own regular community Music Festival. The beautiful acoustic and wide, open feel inside provides the perfect setting for the concert series.|
