About our Christmas concerts

We love this time of year, but it can be pretty hectic for us parents, right?! So to make life a bit easier, here are some top tips about our Christmas concerts.

  1. All are welcome - families members big and small, those who celebrate Christmas and those that dont.
  2. Our Christmas concerts will be a feast of music that celebrates families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - there'll be something for everybody!
  3. Look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November.
  4. Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet. **sniff**

About the venue

Bach to Baby Bournville Venue ImageBournville was founded by the Cadbury family and named after the river running through, the river Bourn. Most famous for its chocolate factory, George Cadbury was also a Quaker and commissioned the construction of a meeting house. Designed by William Alexander Harvey, it was built in 1905. Intended to be inclusive to workers of other Christian faiths, it was equipped with an organ which would not normally be expected in a Quaker meeting house in Britain.

On a warm day, why not enjoy the open spaces that George Cadbury preserved for the well-being of his workers after the concert, or visit Cadbury World for the ultimate chocolate experience!
