Magic in the Air
Bach to Baby Festive Family Concert

Daniel King Smith, piano

At the Bach to Baby concert, my true love gave to me: Six sonorous solos, five carols a-humming, four bass beats, three verse repeats, too good to miss, and a pianist playing the keys! Get in the spirit with festive classics this season with the Sugar Plum Fairy under Liszt's Christmas Tree Suite, and an unforgettable Sleighride in the snow.

Magical music, festive frolics, sparkles and spices, oh my! Grab your family, harness up your fastest reindeer and meet us at a Bach to Baby concert for the perfect prelude to the holiday season!

About the venue

Little St. Marys is situated in the centre of historic Cambridge, home to Cambridge University which dates back to as early as 1209. Little St Marys is directly opposite Pembroke College, a spot which has been a place of worship since around the twelfth century. St Marys the Less, as the church was previously known, is nestled next to Peterhouse, the origins of the first Cambridge college. Steeped in history, the church also benefits from a secluded garden and a bright parish centre, extended in 2011. After the concert, why not take some time to explore more of this incredible city, or disappear into the calmness of the picturesque Backs, along the River Cam.
