Dance and be Merry!

Featuring Rosie Banks-Francis, cello & Anthony Halstead, piano

We invite you to 'sing, dance and be merry' with the beautiful cello. We'll sing your favourite nursery rhymes and dance along to Bach and Bartok and we'll be suitably merry, as Debussy conjures up antics of Pierro the clown!

A first for Bach to Baby Kent as we fill your hour with jazz from the saxophone and piano. 'Take Five' out of your day, jump on 'The A Train' and get your 'Boplicity' on, with music from Duke Ellington, Gil Evans and more.

We’re picking up good vibrations - there’s a bass in this ballroom! From triumphant tunes to toe-tapping dances, prepare for a sumptuous celebration of the versatility of the brass family’s biggest brother. Not an oom pah in sight!

Klezmer Curiosities

Featuring Zivorad Nikolic, classical accordion & Susi Evans, clarinet

Accordion-maestro, Zivorad Nikolić, and Queen-of-the-Klezmer-Clarinet, Susi Evans, perform traditional folk tunes and songs from Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria and well as Jewish wedding music of eastern Europe.  It’s soulful and celebratory music that makes you dance and weep all at the same time.

Bach to Baby is the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers. Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow.

Doors open 30 mins prior to the concert, giving you time to ditch the buggy, grab a coffee, and catch up with friends before the performance.
