Christmas Concerts Guide

We really want you to enjoy your concert with us, so here's a few top tips so you know what to expect

  • Pre-booking is essential at our Christmas concerts to allow us to manage capacity and keep everyone safe. Many concerts sell out quickly, so do book early.
  • All are welcome: families of all shapes, sizes and colours, family members young and wise, those who celebrate Christmas and those that don't. Our festive season concerts are really a celebration of families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - something for everyone!
  • Wrap up warm and get cosy: Our venues' heating will already be turned up to full blast in preparation. But ancient buildings won't be roasting hot, so please wrap up warm. Feel free to bring your own cushions, throws or blankets to sit on - anything to get extra cosy.
  • Our Christmas concerts are very popular so do expect a full house. Arrive early, ditch the buggy, and snuggle up in your favourite spot. There may not be the usual space for your baby or tot to crawl or toddle about.
  • Programmes: look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November
  • Warm up your voices! Throughout the concert, we'll be inviting you to join us in singing a selection of much-loved Christmas carols. When you hear the sleigh bells ring, its your time to sing!
  • Click through here to find our Digital Christmas Carol Sheet. We would love to have you join in as we sing our hearts out!
  • Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet (shocker!)
