About the concerts

Bach to Baby is the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers. Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow.

Doors open 15 mins prior to the concert, giving you time to ditch the buggy, grab a coffee, and catch up with friends before the performance.

Public transport:
Closest station is Canterbury West.

There is free parking available at the school. The nearest car park is Foundations way, off University Road. However, for convenient buggy and disabled access, please park at Giles Lane and follow the tarmac path to the marquee.

About the venue

Celebrating its 275th anniversary, St Edmund's school stands proudly at the top of St Thomas Hill in Canterbury and boasts some truly beautiful architecture. The Festival on the Hill, launched in 2017, has become known for hosting some world-renowned performers throughout its week long annual festival. Bach to Baby is thrilled to have been invited to this year's festival for a concert in the gorgeous marquee in front of the historic main school building, with sensational views over Canterbury and the beautiful Cathedral.
