About our Christmas concerts

We love this time of year, but it can be pretty hectic for us parents, right?! So to make life a bit easier, here are some top tips about our Christmas concerts.

  1. All are welcome - families members big and small, those who celebrate Christmas and those that dont.
  2. Our Christmas concerts will be a feast of music that celebrates families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - there'll be something for everybody!
  3. Look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November.
  4. Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet. **sniff**

About the venue

Guildford United Reformed Church has been meeting at various buildings around Guildford since the 17th century. The church moved to its current location on the road out of town in 1965 when the architects Barber, Bundy & Greenfield designed this startlingly modern octagonal building to replace the former premises in the town centre. The church is light and spacious, beautifully lit through the windows high above in the clerestory, and is home to an impressive church organ that is said to be one of the finest in southern England. Music is at the heart of the community life of the church, and the excellent acoustics create the perfect spot in which to enjoy one of the frequent concerts that take place there. Bach to Baby is delighted to now be part of this thriving musical scene!
