About our Christmas concerts

We love this time of year, but it can be pretty hectic for us parents, right?! So to make life a bit easier, here are some top tips about our Christmas concerts.

  1. All are welcome - families members big and small, those who celebrate Christmas and those that dont.
  2. Our Christmas concerts will be a feast of music that celebrates families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - there'll be something for everybody!
  3. Look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November.
  4. Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet. **sniff**

About the venue

Bach to Baby Highgate Village Venue ImagePond Square Chapel, built in 1859, is a mere punctuation mark in the history of religious Dissent in Highgate, with a strong Puritan connection in the village before close associates of Oliver Cromwell took up residence here under the Commonwealth. The building has not changed much in the centuries past, but a major refurbishment in 1984 on the inside of the church allowed the space to become more versatile. As well as religious services, it plays host to musical concerts, lectures, public meetings, exhibitions of painting. When at the chapel, dont forget to look up at the beautiful Rose Window!
