Bach to Baby & London Mozart Players

A match made in Heaven, Bach to Baby teams up with London Mozart Players!

Bach to Baby is thrilled to have teamed up with one of Europe’s finest chamber orchestras the London Mozart Players to bring you large-scale orchestral concerts for ages 0+

December 2016 saw Bach to Baby and London Mozart Players present the UK’s first large-scale orchestral concert suitable for children from their very earliest moments.  Building on the overwhelming popularity of the launch, we are delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with four further concerts in 2017.

With over 40 concerts every month across London and the South East enjoyed by the whole family, and sold-out concerts at Buckingham Palace and the Royal Albert Hall, we wanted to bring Bach to Baby audiences the thrilling experience of seeing, hearing, and feeling the majesty of a full orchestra.

And what better partner than the London Mozart Players who share our vision of bringing world class musical experiences to families right on their doorstep? As one of Europe’s finest chamber orchestras and the UK's oldest professional chamber orchestra, LMP is internationally renowned for outstanding live performances and has a long history of association with many of the world’s finest conductors and soloists.

Bach to Baby founder Miaomiao Yu said, ‘As a mother and pianist I see the awe and wonder in babies and young children when they hear classical instruments played by outstanding musicians for the first time at our concerts, and the joy families get from sharing great live music together. So I am absolutely thrilled that Bach to Baby can introduce the wondrous sound of an internationally-renowned orchestra to babies, children and their families across London. ”

LMP Executive Director Julia Desbruslais said, “Following on from the enormous success of the first collaboration between the LMP and Bach to Baby, we are delighted to be able to deliver further performances to the families that flock to the events at our home, St John's Upper Norwood. We are so excited to be able to share the thrill of the greatest music and the experience of a live orchestra with the smallest members of our community and their families”
