It took Phileas Fogg eighty days, but our star harpist Tomos Xerri will whisk you around the world in under an hour, stopping off to dance the Bransles in France, the tango in Argentina, and finishing with fiery flamenco. Put on those dancing shoes!

Bach to Baby is the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers. Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow.

How to get there

The Riverfront, Kingsway, Newport NP20 1HG

Ideally located in the city centre of Newport, 5 minutes from the M4 and 90 minutes from London by rail with direct coach services from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Newport also has two other international airports – Cardiff and Bristol – within an hour’s drive. The Riverfront is situated opposite the main bus station and the Friars Walk shopping centre and a 10 minute walk from Newport Train Station. The Riverfront is easily accessible by foot, car, coach and train.

About the venue

The Riverfront is a multi functional venue that seeks to bring as many people as possible into contact with the arts and creativity, with up to 180 professional performances, over 200 film screenings and over 500 workshops, which are directly managed and promoted by The Riverfront every year. The Riverfront is Newport's only presenting theatre and arts centre and has two theatre spaces, three visual art gallery spaces, dance studio, recording studio, three workshop rooms, conference room and licensed cafe.
