About the venue

Bach to Baby Oxford Centre Venue ImageSituated right in the heart of Oxford on the busy shopping street of Cornmarket, St. Michael's was originally built in the Middle Ages. The Saxon tower, which dates from around 1050, is predicted to be the oldest surviving structure in Oxford. It contains Elizabethan silver, a 19th century chiming clock and the prison doors of the Oxford Martyr's! After enjoying some music, climbing the tower is an absolute must for some unrivalled views of the city!

St. Michael's is the City Church of Oxford and just a stone's throw away from the university campus and the historic Covered Market, which offers only the best in local crafts, food and drink.
