It Takes Two...

Featuring Dominika Rosiek, violin & Khac-Uyen Nguyen, violin

Soaring flights of melody intertwine in this sublime programme featuring rarely-heard music for two violins by Mozart, Mazas, and Prokofiev, as well as invigorating folk dances from Bartok. It takes two - to Tango, Albeniz style!

Carnival of the Animals

Featuring Charis Hanning, piano & Matthew McCombie, piano

Come one, come all to see the animals big and small. Join the regal lion, the dancing elephant, the cuckoo in the wood, the tortoise who knows how to beat the hare, the fossils (no, Mummy's not that old), the bouncy kangaroo and the long-eared donkey, as our pianists bring you the glorious music of Saint-Saëns. All that, plus your favourite nursery rhymes to finish, of course!

Bach to Baby is the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers. Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow.

Doors open 30 mins prior to the concert, giving you time to ditch the buggy, grab a Monmouth coffee, and catch up with friends before the performance.

About the venue

Join us for a Bach to Baby concert in the majestic St Gabriel's church - built in the mid 1800s, the church was designed by Thomas Cundy Junior, the Surveyor of the Grosvenor Estates encompassing all of Belgravia and Pimlico. The church's east window boasts the work of one of the great Victorian stained glass window designers, Kempe, which miraculously survived the bombings of World War Two. The church is conveniently located, equidistant from both Victoria and Pimlico stations with a number of buses serving the area. After the concert, take a picnic to nearby Warwick Square, wander over to the River Thames or explore the local area for a spot of shopping and lunch.
