About the venue

Sir John Soane, one of Britains most influential architects, designed and built Pitzhanger Manor as his dream country retreat in what was then rural Ealing. He built Pitzhanger to showcase his skills, but first and foremost it was a place of entertainment, where he could host clients and influential friends at dinners and garden parties. Today, Pitzhanger is a forum for creativity, debate and participation, aiming to inspire and enrich our communities with art, architecture and design. The stunning £12m redevelopment includes the beautiful Soane's Kitchen and a gallery space that will open with an exhibition by Anish Kapoor. Set in the glorious grounds of Walpole Park, this is a must-go destination for any London parent.
