Bach to Baby Christmas Concert ImageGather round this magical midwinter with Bach to Baby and our pair of perfect piano players! We have big plans for their four hands: a dance on the keys with Sugar Plum Fairies, a Sleigh Ride with a twist and a Rhapsody from Liszt!

Doors open at 3.30pm. Concert lasts for about an hour.

About our Christmas concerts

We love this time of year, but it can be pretty hectic for us parents, right?! So to make life a bit easier, here are some top tips about our Christmas concerts.

  1. All are welcome - families members big and small, those who celebrate Christmas and those that dont.
  2. Our Christmas concerts will be a feast of music that celebrates families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - there'll be something for everybody!
  3. Look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November.
  4. Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet. **sniff**

Bach to Baby Putney Venue ImageDating from the 15th century, St. Mary's has a beautiful riverside location next to Putney Bridge. It's a stunning building - the outer walls are of the original stone, but they house a modern interior which is beautifully light and spacious. Entry to the church is via the Putney Pantry, which serves tea, coffee and delicious food all day. Perfect for a post-concert snack!
