About our Christmas concerts

We love this time of year, but it can be pretty hectic for us parents, right?! So to make life a bit easier, here are some top tips about our Christmas concerts.

  1. All are welcome - families members big and small, those who celebrate Christmas and those that dont.
  2. Our Christmas concerts will be a feast of music that celebrates families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - there'll be something for everybody!
  3. Look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November.
  4. Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet. **sniff**

About the venue

Solihull Methodist Church is situated close to the centre of Solihull in the West Midlands. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment, the church offers a warm and welcoming environment for our audience. Still quaint, the town of Solihull is dotted with historic architecture including timber-framed Tudor houses and shops, and nearly three-quarters of the borough is defined as Green Belt!

After the concert, why not take a picnic to Brueton Park on the edge of the town centre and visit the Parkridge Centre with its 5.5 acre nature area or stroll through Olton Jubilee Park with its basketball area, BMX Track and playground. Or if the weathers not so great, hit the many shops or grab a coffee in the town centre.
