About our Christmas concerts

We love this time of year, but it can be pretty hectic for us parents, right?! So to make life a bit easier, here are some top tips about our Christmas concerts.

  1. All are welcome - families members big and small, those who celebrate Christmas and those that dont.
  2. Our Christmas concerts will be a feast of music that celebrates families coming together and all things wintertime, with a sprinkling of sleigh bells and singalong carols throughout - there'll be something for everybody!
  3. Look out for the specific music and musical instruments at your chosen concert when the programmes are announced in early November.
  4. Fancy dress, frolicking and loud singing encouraged, but please note this is not a carol service, or santa's grotto and we can't guarantee the church will have a tree up yet. **sniff**

Bach to Baby St. John's Wood Venue ImageSt. Mark's Church was consecrated in 1847 and it was here that the iconic story of Alice in Wonderland was born when the Reverend Charles Dodgson (alias Lewis Carroll) was introduce to Alice Liddell who became the basis forinspired the enchanting character known and loved to this day. Aside from the vhurch's literary claim to fame, it is nestled amidst elegant residential streets with the famous Maida Vale and Abbey Road Studios nearby as well as much-loved local pubs and restaurants to get a bite to eat after the concert.
