About the venue

Bach to Baby St. John's Wood Venue ImageSt. Mark's Church was consecrated in 1847 and it was here that the iconic story of Alice in Wonderland was born when the Reverend Charles Dodgson (alias Lewis Carroll) was introduced to Alice Liddell who inspired the enchanting character known and loved to this day. Aside from the church's literary claim to fame, it is nestled amidst elegant residential streets with the famous Maida Vale and Abbey Road Studios nearby as well as much-loved local pubs and restaurants to get a bite to eat after the concert.
