Victoria 200! Concerts

1st April - 31st May 2019

This Spring, Bach to Baby celebrates the 200th birthday of Queen Victoria. As well as being an iconic British monarch, political powerhouse, accomplished musician and mum of nine, Victoria was a trailblazer, early tech adopter and culture vulture. Sound familiar? Step into Victoria's dainty shoes and hear the world as she did through our soundtrack to the Victorian era. This special series will take you inside the palace walls with music from the Queen's favourites, Mendelssohn and Strauss, into the Savoy Theatre of Gilbert and Sullivan fame, and on to the cobbled streets with songs from the Victorian Music Halls.
