From brook to brook, to the birds, bees and butterflies, we rejoice the return of Spring. Nature reawakens to the chirping of Vivaldi's masterpiece Four Seasons, Dvorak's sonatina for his children inspired by the New World, and the energetic violin sonata by Beethoven in an ode to new life and new beginnings.

Carnival of the Animals

Featuring Charis Hanning, piano & Matthew McCombie, piano

Come one, come all to see the animals big and small. Join the regal lion, the dancing elephant, the cuckoo in the wood, the tortoise who knows how to beat the hare, the fossils (no, Mummy's not that old), the bouncy kangaroo and the long-eared donkey, as our pianists bring you the glorious music of Saint-Saëns. All that, plus your favourite nursery rhymes to finish, of course!

Bach to Baby is the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers. Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow.

Doors open 30 mins prior to the concert, giving you time to ditch the buggy, grab a Monmouth coffee, and catch up with friends before the performance.

About the venue

Holy Trinity Church celebrated its 150th birthday in 2012 and was originally built as a mission church for the rapidly expanding population of New Wimbledon. In the 1970s, the church hall was sold on a long lease to the Polka Theatre - the world renowned children's theatre which thrives to this day. Join Back to Baby at Holy Trinity Church for another one of our fantastic concerts and round off the morning with a trip to South Park Gardens, where you can do some bird spotting, or head into Wimbledon Town Centre for some shopping and lunch.
